about jen

jen ferreira is the sole designer, creator and proprietess of saint9. saint9 began in

early 2004 (back then it was known as perishable productions and became saint9

in 2006) and the line has been developing and growing ever since. jen likes to

create all sorts of handmade treats such as tote bags, stationery, zippered pouches,

aprons and t-shirts, all hand-silkscreened with her own patterns and designs.

jen has known her way around a sewing machine since she was knee-high to a

grasshopper, and she has been an avid silkscreener since she was a teen. by day,

she works 9-5 for a non-profit, but can be found (usually covered in ink and thread)

in her studio by night.

jen also enjoys running around outside with her pekingese, gracie, baking cookies,

and listening to queen at top volume. sometimes all at once. she lives just outside

of boston, ma.
